Nik’s 60th at Galu

Jezz and I meet up with 27 others to surprise Nik for yet another celebration of her 60th birthday. The venue was Galu, a Mediterranean restaurant in Banstead, Surrey.

It was delightful to reunite with some old friends and explore a new restaurant, which was excellent. The food was impeccable, so good that it justified the £50 per person charge for a set menu.

I had the chicken skewers for starters and the braised lamb for main and the panna cotta for dessert. Jezz had the scallops for starter, sirloin steak with fries and peppercorn sauce for main and tiramisu for dessert.
