On Saturday 3rd August 2019 Jezz, Amanda and I went to Brighton. We had no idea initially that it was Pride weekend but decided to go anyway. We had breakfast in Bill’s Restaurant in North Road, walked through some lanes, stopped for a quick drink in The White Rabbit, watched some of the parade passing by on North Road, had ice cream in Gelato Gusto. Then, we then walked to the pier and spent time on the arcade games, bought doughnuts and then headed back to the car. We stopped off at The George Hotel in Henfield again, as the last visit was fabulous. Here are the photos of the day, taken by all three of us.

We started the day off with a full English at Bill’s restaurant in North Road, one of our favourite places in Brighton.Just some random photo taking. But that guy in the white shorts is cute. Glad I caught that, too.Good photo of my Jezz… really clear — must be Amanda’s phoneNow what’s she looking at, I wonder. Amanda’s first ever Pride event. Wow.Jezz and Amanda… strike the pose. Now there’s dashing for you. Actually, it’s a good camera in Amanda’s phone.Oh, look it’s Miss Marple. Oh no, it’s Jezz.Erm… are we in the right positions, here? No? Let’s swap then.Thanks. Very funny. One of the many in the Pride march. And another. Must have been quite a sight for Amanda, being her first time ‘n all.I think it’s ok if it’s not overtly camp, do you?And no VPL, either.Fabulous.Just a couple of items we picked as a keepsake, for the day.We stopped off on the way home. This is traditional fish and chips, served in The George pub, in Henfield.
