London Day Out 2010
A day out in London with Jezz, 19 May 2010.

Amazing views from The London Eye
The London Eye
The London Eye is a cantilevered observation wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames in London. It is Europe’s tallest cantilevered observation wheel, is the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom with over 3.75 million visitors annually, and has made many appearances in popular culture.
The structure is 135 metres (443 ft) tall and the wheel has a diameter of 120 metres (394 ft). It opened to the public in 2000.
The London Film Museum
The London Film Museum, founded and created by Jonathan Sands in February 2008, is a museum dedicated to the British film industry. It was previously known as The Movieum of London and was originally situated in County Hall, but moved to a Covent Garden location in April 2012.

Jezz about to board The London Eye.

Me in front of the London Eye.

A neighbouring pod whilst on The London Eye.

A view of Big Ben (Elizabeth Tower)

Spotting St. Paul’s Cathedral through the skyline.

Erm… MI6 building and the BT Tower behind.

Where we parked… directly in front of the Duck Tours coach thing.

Little people under the London Eye.

The Houses Of Parliament and Westminster Bridge.

This building is called the Strata SE1, but we see it from the road whenever we’re driving through Elephant & Castle.

The Odeon BFI IMAX on the South Bank, near Waterloo.

Another angle of Westminster Bridge with a red bus thrown in.

A selfie of the pair of us on the London Eye.

Jezz with London as the backdrop from a London Eye pod.

Me in front of the Top Rank gong. The gong that was used at the start of all Top Rank Production films.

I had two of these during my childhood at home.

Jezz on the throne… again.

Me on the throne.

This is often the position you’ll find Jezz in when there’s a big bear behind him.

From the Hellraiser films, presumably.

Way too realistic.

I’ve no idea.

Nope… Still none the wiser.

Thunderbird 2 from TV series Thunderbirds.

Parker was Lady Penelope’s chauffeur and drove the pink Rolls-Royce.

The alien from the film…. Alien.

Two Daleks and Dr. Who’s time travelling machine, the police box.

Yes, yes… even more so.

Jezz climbing the Statue of Liberty.

Jezz on a model of the inside of an underground tube train.

About the only time we’ll see him on an underground tube train.
