Visiting St Neots
On Saturday 16 November 2019, Jezz and I drove the 120-mile journey, to St. Neots, Cambridge to visit Kelly, Chris, Ethan, and Jake. There, we saw their new house and met Sabre, their Cockerpoo dog.
We played games and had a catch-up and then, using both cars, we all went for a meal at The Brampton Mill in Huntingdon. We all had a really nice and the food was great. Jezz and I had the maple pork belly and pig cheek and a dessert.
Later, we checked in at The Premier Inn at Colmworth Business Park, 2 Marlborough Rd, Eaton Socon, Saint Neots, PE19 8YP. The room, staff, service, and breakfast were all exemplary. We both had a really great night’s stay.
After checking out Sunday morning, we headed off to Wisbech, 40 miles (64.37 km) on, to visit Elliot, Jezz’s brother. We saw his bungalow and met his dog, Moog, a Bull Mastiff. We took Elliot out for Sunday lunch to Worzal’s, in Wisbech.
Here are some photos of our weekend. To see a larger view of an image, which will also start a carousel of this page’s images, be sure to tap, or click on the image and not the caption text.

It wouldn’t be the same without a crazy face one!

Posing at Kelly’s, we use a blank wall for the backdrop as Jezz takes our photo.

Hold it in… hold it in… <snap> and breathe again.

Kelly and Chris treated us to dinner at their favourite restaurant, The Brampton Mill in Huntingdon. The waiter had very nice fitting jeans! Oh and that’s Jezz.

I was only trying to take some photos of the decor of the place!

Maple Pork Belly And Pig Cheek, with Scallops on Dijon chive mash, cavolo nero, crisp prosciutto and a red wine & sage jus. Jezz and I had this from the menu. It was pleasant but hopelessly overpriced.

I know… don’t they? Jezz is on the right. He-he.

We took Elliot out for Sunday lunch to Worzal’s in Wisbech. I had the roast turkey, Jezz had the slow-cooked roast lamb and Elliot had the farmhouse burger.
